Purwakarta,Jarakinfo.com – Untuk mengetahui kondisi kesehatan para tahanan, Urusan Kesehatan (Urkes) Polres Purwakarta lakukan pengecekan kesehatan terhadap penghuni rumah tahanan (Rutan) Polres Purwakarta, Polda Jawa Barat.
Kapolres Purwakarta, AKBP Edwar Zulkarnain, melalui Kasat Tahti, IPDA Suparman menjelaskan bahwa kegiatan tersebut merupakan salah satu upaya deteksi dini terhadap kesehatan terhadap para tahanan di Rutan Polres Purwakarta.
“Pengecekan kesehatan terhadap tahanan sangat penting dilakukan agar dapat mengetahui kondisi dan riwayat penyakit yang diderita oleh tahanan. Jika didapati tahanan sakit, pada saat itu juga langsung dilakukan pemeriksaan kesehatan lebih lanjut serta pemberian obat,” ungkap Suparman, Pada Rabu, 22 Mei 2024.
Kasat Tahti mengatakan selama berada di ruang tahanan, hak-hak para tahanan secara layak dipenuhi. Hak tersebut meliputi hak beribadah, makan dan minum, serta pelayanan kesehatan.
“Hak para tahanan akan kami penuhi, secara layak. Semua dilakukan untuk menjamin tingkat kesehatan seluruh tahanan,” ungkap Suparman.
Selain dilakukan pemeriksaan kesehatan, Lanjut Dia, tahanan juga diberikan pengarahan dan sosialisasi terkait perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat.
“Petugas juga mengingatkan kepada para penghuni tahanan supaya selalu menjaga kesehatan dan kebersihan,” ucap Suparman. ***Galang
